One-on-one lactation consultation in the comfort of your own home.
Included:
- Comprehensive lactation support
- Pre-and post-feed weights with a 2g accurate infant scale
- Infant oral assessment
- Personalized feeding plan and recommendations
- Two weeks of messaging support on consult following initial visits, one-week messaging support after follow-ups. Support occurs via secure messaging on your Practice Better portal (Note: Please allow 12-24 hours for a response. Clients can use text/email for support but must be aware that those platforms are not secure or PIPEDA/PHIPA-compliant).
Partners and support people are welcome and encouraged to attend!
Available to those living in Guelph and surrounding areas. Please note that a mileage fee will be added to those living over 30 kilometers away based on Google Maps.

Pump Flange Fitting

One-on-one flange fitting in your home.
Many of us do not fit the size 24/28 mm flanges that come with your pump. If you’re experiencing pain, damaged nipples, low milk removal while pumping, or you’ve just started and want to ensure a proper fit, you may benefit from a flange fitting.
Ensuring you use the correct flange size will lead to improved comfort, higher output and shorter pumping sessions.
Included:
- Pumping session on a Spectra S2 closed-system pump
- Flange sizes available: 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24 & 28 mm.

Prenatal Consult

One-on-one prenatal breastfeeding consult.
Gaining confidence in your ability to breastfeed before your baby is here is always a great idea! The more information and hands-on skills you have, the easier it will be when you get started.
Included:
-Medical health history
-Discussion of feeding goals
-Addressing general breastfeeding/infant feeding concerns
-How birth can impact breastfeeding
-What to expect after birth (feeding patterns, how to know baby is getting enough, dealing with a sleepy baby)
-Latching/positioning education
-Hand expression/pumping education
